PROPOSED PLAN CHANGE 7
Strategic Growth of Townships

The Council has prepared a draft plan change (Proposed Plan Change 7) to provide for the strategic growth of townships and to introduce new subdivision and urban design provisions.  It also proposes changes to give effect to the Lincoln Structure Plan and Stormwater Plan (also known as an Integrated Catchment Management Plan) for Lincoln Township.

Consultation

Consultation on Proposed Plan Change 7 will be in two stages.  In the first stage, anyone can send us written comments and suggestions on any aspect of the proposed plan change. You can use the response form (below) for this. This consultation phase will end at 5pm Friday 12 June 2009. 

After these comments have been integrated into the Plan Change, the next step will be to formally notify it as a Proposed Plan Change. In this stage, anyone may submit written arguments, supporting or opposing the plan change. These submissions must be made in accordance with the requirements of the Resource Management Act 1991.
