TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WADDINGTON INTERSECTION During the Waddington Intersection improvement, road construction project the Waimakariri Gorge Road and Old West Coast Road intersection (accessed from these roads and State Highway 73) will be closed from approximately Tuesday 30 March to 30 June 2009 until work is completed. During the road closure, traffic will be requested to detour along nearby alternative routes which will be signposted.
